Description
Methane emissions continue to rise, but policymakers will have new tools at their disposal in the coming years. Satellites can track methane emissions, so claims of low emissions or leaking need to be substantiated by measurements. They can also provide a valuable tool for enforcement, or to improve operations in the energy and waste management sector. This panel will allow a dialogue between policymakers and those at the frontlines of satellite measurements to explore how these observations can result in the much-needed methane mitigation we require this decade.
